Discover! 370 Plans 10-Year Celebration November 16

An evening reception and special awards ceremony to recognize the regional impact, current successes and future growth potential of the Highway 370 corridor linking St. Charles and St. Louis Counties will be held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, November 16 at the Foundry Art Centre, 520 North Main Center in historic St. Charles.

Since the Highway 370 mixed use corridor opened in 1996, over 7.5 million square feet of new construction has occurred and nearly 10,000 jobs have been created.

Hosted by the regional civic group, Discover! 370, the upcoming evening reception will include special award presentations to St. Charles County Executive Joe Ortwerth and St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley. Local firms to be honored for their visionary roles along the 370 corridor will include Balke Brown Associates, Millstone-Bangert Inc., TRiSTAR Business Communities and Whittaker Homes.

?The Highway 370 corridor has succeeded beyond everyone?s expectations in its first decade and this upcoming reception will be a great opportunity for the region to celebrate today?s accomplishments and tomorrow?s potential,? said Nadine Boon, the group?s chair and economic development director for the city of St. Charles.
