ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO --- Eight prominent business leaders, five major companies, and two county governments will be honored during a 10-year celebration and evening awards reception planned by the regional civic group Discover! 370 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16 at the Foundry Art Centre located at 520 North Main Center in historic St. Charles.
?Since the 12-mile Highway 370 corridor was fully opened in November 1996, this dynamic transportation link between St. Charles and St. Louis Counties has experienced unprecedented growth, and we look forward to recognizing some of the many outstanding individuals, companies, and organizations that made it all possible,? said Nadine Boon, chair of Discover! 370 and economic development director for the city of St. Charles. ?Today there is more than 7.5 million square feet of mixed-use development along Highway 370 and an estimated 10,000 jobs. With even more on the horizon, that?s a great reason to celebrate the first decade of this regional milestone.?
During the November 16 evening reception, business leaders to be honored for their visionary roles in the growth and development of the 370 corridor include:
Rodney Thomas and Michael Towerman of TRiSTAR Business Communities
Former TRiSTAR executive Lawrence Chapman now of Clayco
