MiTek Opens New 177,600-Square-Foot, Multi-Use Facility

(Greater St. Louis Inc. Exclamation Points, Summer 2007) ---MiTek recently opened a new 177,600-square-foot, high-tech building in the Fountain Lakes Commerce Center in St. Charles, Mo. The company is the world?s leading provider to the building component industry of engineered connector products, computer-driven machinery and support services.

The new facility houses automated equipment manufacturing, research and development and state-of-the-art training center.

MiTek, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has its global headquarters in Chesterfield, Mo., west of St. Louis. The leadership for sales and marketing, operations, engineering review services, software development and other services to the residential component manufacturing industry are located at the headquarters.
