Trinity Products expand into St. Charles City

By: Mike Trask // May 17, 2006

Business has been good for Trinity Products Inc. in O?Fallon. So good, in fact, that the custom steel fabrication company is expanding and will build a 60,000-square-foot facility in St. Charles City next year. Steel-pipe fabrication will take place at the new facility when it is completed, said Brian Davis, Trinity?s chief financial officer. ?Initially, we will employ about 15 people? at the St. Charles Facility, he said.
The 42-acre site along Truman Boulevard and Highway 370 is being graded, even though the sale of the property will not close until March or April. Davis said Trinity has an agreement with the seller that allows grading to commence. Construction is scheduled to commence in mid 2006 and be completed by the end of the year.
Ultimately, Trinity might move its O?Fallon operations to St. Charles. The O?Fallon site on West Terra Lane has no space left on which to expand, Davis said. The O?Fallon location employs about 50 workers.
